Poems

JUST AS I AM

I let it fall
Like dew drops.
Showering my face,
Wetting me gently;
Droplets of rain,
In the train.

I let it blow
Like a gentle breeze.
Play with my hair strands,
Whispering to me;
Episodes of wind,
Down the street.

I let it dance
Like ballerina maidens.
Touching my heart,
In a special way;
Pretty red roses,
In my garden.

I let them play
Like Cupid angels.
Hugging my shoulders,
Playing hide n seek;
Lovely little children,
In my home.

I let them be
Just the way they are.
Without pretence,
Disguise or prejudice;
Masks or Favoritism,
Just as I am.
